Mr. Wayne Eller, age 72, of Hwy 421 West, Purlear died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Eller was born in Wilkes County, November 29, 1935, to June and Elzie Triplett Eller. He was a member of Lewis Fork Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon as well as other positions.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Eller was preceded in death by a sister, Belva Lee Absher.
Mr. Eller is survived by his wife, Nancy Anne Shepherd Eller of the home; two daughters, Angela E. Minton and husband, Joey of Purlear and Cynthia E. Faw and husband, Gregory of Wilkesboro; two brothers, Odell Eller of Millers Creek and Cline Eller of Wilkesboro; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Emily Faw.
