Andrew Perry Adams, age 72, died at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla on
Thursday morning, October 12th, following a heart attack. Funeral services
were held Friday at thee o'clock at Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church in Grady
County with Rev. Earl Childs, of Cairo, officiating. Interment was in the
church cemetery with Roy Davis, Macel Adams, Ellis Adams, Rayborn Adams, Emmett
Adams, Olen Davis and John R. Jones serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Adams and his wife moved into Apt. 22, Bennett Homes in Camilla about two months ago. They formerly lived in the Mt. Olive community and a member of the Mizpah Primitive
Baptist Church.
He was born in Grady County on September 6th, 1889, son of the late Mitchell and Sylvania McLellan Adams. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maggie Cooper Adams; one brother, J. H. Adams of Pelham; one sister, Mrs. A. D. Sadler of Meigs; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Bramlett Funeral Home of Camilla was in charge of funeral arrangements.
