LINCOLNTON - Rev. Wayne Everett Hoyle age 70 of 3902 Maiden Highway in Lincolnton died Monday, December 6, 1999 at Catawba Memorial Hospital.

His funeral will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at McKendree United Methodist Church with Rev. Deval Mason, Rev. Jim Trollinger and Rev. D.H. Lutz officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:30PM until 9:00 PM at Warlick Funeral Home.

Rev. Hoyle was born on July 16, 1929 to the late Shirley and Jennie Shrum Hoyle. He was a retired Methodist Minister, Pastor Emeritus of McKendree United Methodist Church and was an Army veteran having served in the Korean War.

Survivors include; wife, Ada W. Hoyle of the home; one son, Ronnie Hoyle of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Katrina Redmon of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters, Ailene Harrison of Lincolnton, Faye Helton of Denver, NC; two brothers, J. V. Hoyle of Lincolnton, Jerry Hoyle of Winterhaven, FL; one grandson, Joshua Hoyle.
