Funeral services for Mrs. Para Lea Hedrick Wyant, age 81 of Jena, will be held 11:00 AM Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Aimwell with Rev. Elbert Sanson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Aimwell under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Wyant was born November 24, 1927 to Charlie and Mary Hedrick. She died November 27, 2008 in Jena after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lane Wyant, her parents; five sisters: Dovie Rutledge, Mary Lampkin, Louella Green, Tommie Green and Faye Aarons; four brothers: K.P. Hedrick, Charlie Hedrick, Howard Hedrick and Ben Hedrick.
Mrs. Wyant is survived by her sons: Kenneth Wyant and wife Shirley of Fort Necessity and Michael Wyant of Jena; daughters: Lois and husband R.E. McGuffee, Deborah and husband Glen McCormack all of Enterprise and Beverly and husband Elbert Sanson of Aimwell; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Wyant, Neil Sanson, Brad Sanson, John Ogden, Dusty Ogden, Jason Salisbury, Terence Hill and Mark Coleman.
Visitaton will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church.
