Theodore Alfred George Haefner, 87, a cattleman, auctioneer and realtor, died Feb. 27 at the Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
The funeral was Saturday, March 3, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lincolnville with pastor Alan Stahlecker officiating. Burial was in the Lincolnville Cemetery.
He was born March 8, 1913, to George and Frances (Shroer) Haefner in rural Lincolnville. On Sept. 28, 1938, he was married to Hildred Meyer, who predeceased him in 1992.
He is survived by a daughter, Patsy Troutt of Lincolnville; a sister, Irene Corey of Herington; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, a foster grandchild and three foster great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with St. John's Lutheran Church.
