ABRAMS, Edmund "Chuckie", of Ashland, Va., formerly of Pleasanton, Calif., entered eternal rest of October 17, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Leon (Rose) and Howard Abrams Jr. (Peggy); five aunts, Vinetta Taliferro, Joyce Latney, Oda Belle Jenkins, Grace Patterson, and Helen Jones; two uncles, Andres Jones and Willie Latney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, one devoted Diane Latney, and other relatives. Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Highway., Ashland, Va., where the family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2008, from 6 to 7 p.m., and where funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 2 p.m. Interment Providence Baptist Church, Ashland, Va. No repast.
