Elizabeth, "Liz" F. Abbott, a lifelong resident of Bend, died Friday at her home. She was 65.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday, at St. Francis Catholic Church. A memorial mass will be held at 10 p.m.
Tuesday, at St. Francis, with the Rev. Donal Burke officiating.
Mrs. Abbott was born April 8, 1925, in Bend to Melvin and Florence (Zeroff) McClain. She had worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, and was one of the first students to attend St. Francis School. She was also a member of the Ladies of Elks, Bend Lodge No. 1371.
Mrs. Abbott is survived by her husband Harold, whom she married in Bend on August 7, 1948. She is also survived by one son, Jeff Abbott, of Bend, three grandchildren, Jed, Jodie, and Ashley all of Bend; three brothers, Mel and Jim McClain of Bend, and Bert McClain of Redmond; and one sister, Mary Mauchley of Portland. She was proceeded in death by two children.
