ROBERT L ABBOTT, 53. Star Route, Fossil, died Tuesday at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend.
His funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Niswaonger-Reynolds Chapel.
Mr Abbott had lived in Service Creek area of Wheeler County for the past 4 1/2 years and was proprietor of the Service Creek Trading Post. Survivors include his wife Brenda.
Mr Abbott was born Nov. 9, 1928. in Portland, to Harold H. and Verda (Bay) Abbott.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter Janis Doyle, Springfield, and two sons, Delbert Abbott, Redmond, and Rick Abbott, Bend. He leaves a stepson, Steve Bradham, Fossil, and a stepdaughter, Irene Crooks, Vancouver, Wash.
Also surviving are a brother, Harold Joe Abbott, Port Angeles, Wash., and three sisters; Donna Hammack, Sisters; Gladyce Damewood, Christmas Valley; and Marsha Bastian, Long Creek. There are four grandchildren.
The Rev. D L Penhollow of the Powell Butte Christian Church will officiate at the service. Burial will be at Pilot Butte Cemetery.
