Survivors include two sons, John (Kathy) Drybread of Edinburgh and Rick Drybread (Kristie Huffman-Drybread) of Newport, Tenn.; two daughters, Linda (Herman) Hardwick and Rebecca (William) Snyder, both of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren, Debbie Birk, Jason Drybread, Andy Snyder, David Snyder, Matt Hardwick, Nick Hardwick, Sarabeth Drybread, Abbott Drybread and Devon Drybread; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Don Abbott; and two sisters, Florence Bewley and Eva Kaufmann.
She was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church, Edinburgh American Legion Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, Edinburgh Senior Citizens and Euchre Club and a life member of the Republican National Committee. She was a former Edinburgh clerk-treasurer, serving for 20 years. She was an avid reader and sports fan, particularly the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers. She was the queen of unconditional love, as evidenced by too many good friends to count.
Services were entrusted to Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home of Edinburgh, Indiana.
