Hannah L. Abney, 86, Osage City, died Wednesday at a Topeka hospital where she had been a patient one week. She was born October 30, 1888 in the Rapp community west of Osage City. She lived all her life in the Osage City and Miller communities.
She was a 65-year member of the Pythian Sisters of Osage City and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alta Moon, Michigan City, Ind.; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at Crable Funeral Home in Osage City with burial in Osage City Cemetery.
