Mrs. Christy C. Kreie
Sylvia - Mrs. [Mamie] Chloe Kreie, 81, Sylvia, died Thursday morning at Stafford District Hospital after a long illness. Born Jan. 13, 1890 at Sylvia, she was married to Christy C. Kreie Aug. 16, 1905, at St. John, He died Oct. 19, 1940.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Nazarene, Sylvia.
Survivors include a son; Edward, Sylvia; daughters: Mrs. Eva Meyer, Stafford; Mrs. Wilabel Maley, Stafford; brothers: Carl Abbott, Oklahoma City; sisters: Mrs. Mabel Broker, Alburn, Calif.; Mrs. Viola Claypool, Stafford; 10 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Hays township Cemetery. The family suggest memorials to the church memorial fund. Friends may call at Peacock-Milton Memorial Chapel, Stafford, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and at the church Saturday until service time.
