Services for Raymond O. Abbott, 66, of 3767 Tanner road, Town of Onondaga, who died Saturday at home after a brief illness, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Norris Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Onondaga Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home, 33 North St., Marcellus, with Masonic services at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Born in Town of Onondaga, he was a life resident. He was a self-employed farmer. For the past 25 years, he was employed by Universal Milking Machine Co. in sales and service, retiring a year ago. Mr. Abbott was a member of Cedarvale United Methodist Church, Morningstar Lodge 524, F&AM, South Onondaga Grange 830, a charter member of South Onondaga Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Onondaga Hill Masonic Club. Surviving are his wire, the former Ruth Case; a son, Ralph M. of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Melvin K., and a sister, Miss Genevieve Abbott, both of South Onondaga; four grandchildren and a great-grandson. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Masonic services will be at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
