Funeral services for Billie Ladene Roy, 12-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roy of 911 Bres avenue, who died in a local hospital Thursday afternoon, were held at the Lone Cherry Church near Mangham Friday at 3 p.m., with the Rev. E. L. Tanner, pastor of the Assembly of God Church of West Monroe, officiating.
The funeral procession left the residence at 1:45 p.m. Interment, under the direction of the Mulhearn Funeral Home, took place in the Lone Cherry cemetery, Mangham.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother John W. Roy, Jr.; a sister, Eleen Roy, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roy of Mangham.
Billie Ladene Roy was a sixth grade student in the Georgia Tucker grammar school.
