Archie 0. Fitzgerald, 66, of 1001 E. Second St., retired Worthington Corporation employe, died unexpectedly at 7:15 p.m. Saturday in his home.
He was born May 8, 1899, at Tylersburg, a son of E. R. and Susan Noble Fitzgerald.
He was a foreman at the Worthington Corporation when he retired four years ago.
He and the former Adelaide Snyder were married in 1921. She survives. Also surviving are four sons, Robert A. Fitzgerald of Clackamas, Ore., Gerald E. Fitzgerald of Opelika, Ala., Reed Fitzgerald of Oil City and Arnold Fitzgerald of Titusville; a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Elaine) Henwick of Emlenton; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Amsden of Oil City, a brother, Russell Fitzgerald of Oil City, and nine grandchildren
Removal was made to the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home where friends may call and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Howard Rose, pastor of the First Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery.
