Mrs. Delia A. Wilkins, 98, formerly of Greensboro, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Mobile, Ala.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 22, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Rev. Steve Walsh officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Herman United Methodist Church Cemetery, Madison, N.C.
Mrs. Wilkins was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Lewis Wilkins in 1966; a daughter, Jane Woodfin and a granddaughter, Janell Patille.
Delia is survived by her daughter, Patti Freeland (Joe) of Mobile, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Bruce Waddell of Greensboro, Barry Waddell (Gwen) of Redwood City, Calif., Brian Waddell (Lisa) of Redwood City, Calif., Beverly Flynn (Jamie) of Reidsville, Cheryl Patille of Greensboro, Joyce Thomas of Greensboro and Jenna Guyne of Panama City, Fla.; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
