Geneva Hawksworth Ward, 86, of Princeville died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe.

Born April 10, 1915, in Princeville to Clay and Mayme Byrnes Hart, she married Willis "Buck" Hawksworth on Jan. 17, 1934. He died May 6, 1974, in Princeville. She married Floyd Ward on March 2, 1981. He died June 6, 1982, in Peoria.

Two daughters, Kathryn Hawksworth and Sharon Hernandez; one son, Gary Hawksworth; one grandson; two sisters; and one brother also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Joe Hawksworth of Chillicothe; and four daughters, Winnie Kear of Princeville, Colleen Cramer of Peoria, Vickie (and David) Bacon of Franklin, Tenn., and Bernice (and Keith) Keylor of St. Charles, Mo.

She worked as an assembler for L.R. Nelson in Princeville for 25 years.

She was a member of Chillicothe Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4999 Auxiliary.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Princeville and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery.
