Thelma Louise Aaron

BUFFALO, Minn. — Thelma Louise Aaron, age 85, of Buffalo, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at Buffalo Hospital. She had been a Buffalo-area resident since 2003, moving from Norfolk, Neb. She was born Nov. 30, 1923, in Salina, Kan., the daughter of Milford Vanatta and Beulah Workman Vanatta.

Through the years, Thelma was very active in the Salvation Army's ministry. When her health permitted, she regularly attended worship services at United Methodist Church in Buffalo.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a loving son, Roger L. (Sandy) Aaron, of St. Michael; grandchildren, Chad (Ina) Aaron, of Plattsmouth, Neb., and Tammy Aaron, of Shakopee; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest (Garnett) Vanatta, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina. Interment will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina.
