Funeral services for James W. "Jim" Aaron, 70, of Rayville were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Archibald, LA with Rev. John Cleveland officiating. Interment followed in Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville.

Jim was born January 23, 1938 in Start, LA and passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Aaron was a member of Archibald First Baptist Church. He owned and operated Jim's Barber Shop in Rayville along with his wife, Bobbie; they were married for 47 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Ada Shipley Aaron and his sisters, Elsie Aaron and Grace Allen.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Aaron of Rayville; children, Michael Aaron of Bossier City, LA, Ramona Aaron Summers and husband, Dale of Rayville, "niece" Dorothy Pittman and husband, Jimmy of Rayville; grandchildren, Anna Chapman Woods and husband, Jared of Shreveport, Lilly Aaron of Bossier City, and Andrew Aaron of Bossier City; sisters, Bettye Spencer of Rayville, Shirley Bledsoe and husband, Bobby of Rayville, and Judy Hendrix of Shreveport; brothers, Billy Aaron and wife, Gracie of West Monroe and Willie Allen Aaron, Jr. and wife, Dianne of Choudrant, LA; host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Randy Swain, Jeff Swain, Ronnie Dilmore, Roger Gibson, Jared Woods, and Andy Love.
