Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Stutson, 87, of Harrisonburg, LA will be held at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Monday, September 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Stutson was born March 1, 1921 in Sicily Island, LA. She passed away Saturday August 30, 2008 at Plantation Oaks Nursing & Rehab Wisner. She was a resident of Harrisonburg, owner and operator of the Harrisonburg Beauty Shop and known as the "Bread Lady". She was a member of the Harrisonburg Methodist Church, and Order of the Eastern Star in which she served as Worthy Grand Matron for the Elizabeth Thompson Chapter.

She was preceded in Death by:
Husband-Charles B. "Chic" Stutson
Grandson-Scooter Aarons

Survivors include:
Daughter-Charlotte S. Aarons of Harrisonburg
Daughter-Dorothy S. Tiser of Sicily Island
5 Granddaughters-Ann Reeves of Salado TX, Rayelyn Parker of New Iberia, Pamala Patten of Harrisonburg, Nancy Tiser Blankenship of Harrisonburg, and Ginger Tiser Gallup of Sicily Island, Grandson-John Tiser, III of Harrisonburg
15 Great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be Abe Garza, Jimmy Craft, Jonah Parker, Jerome Patten, David Peavey and Billy Peavey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Jackson and Gilbert Swaggart.

The family will receive friends at Pine Hill Baptist Church from 5:00 PM Sunday, August 31, 2008 until the time of service on Monday.
