Rosalie Aageson
HAVRE - Rosalie (Labold) Aageson, 79, of Gildford, a longtime Gildford-area farm wife, died Monday at a Havre care center of natural causes.
Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday in Highland Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rudyard.
Surviving are her sons, David Aageson and Verges Aageson, both of Gildford, and five grandchildren. Her husband, Arvin Aageson, has died. She also is survived by David's wife, Julie, and Verges' wife, Noreen her grandchildren are Christopher, Nicholas, Matthew, Roald and Maia Aageson, all are of Gildford. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Irene Labold, and a sister, Marilyn Labold.
Rosalie was born in Racine, Wis., on Jan. 2, 1923, to Irving and Irene Labold. She was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from high school in Republic, Mich.
As a young woman, Rosalie worked in a retail women's clothing store and as a parts lady for Harley Davidson motorcycles.
In 1947, Rosalie married Arvin Aageson and moved to the family farm north of Gildford, Mont., where she lived until January 2000, when she moved to the Goldstone, an assisted living facility in Great Falls. She moved to the Northern Montana Care Center in Havre a month ago. Rosalie was a member of the Goldstone Lutheran Church and active in the Goldstone WELCA.
