Rebecca Crews was the fourth child and second daughter of James Crews and Sarah Earl. According to "Sketches,.." by T.T. Hicks, Rebecca A. Crews, third child of James and Sarah Earl Crews, born April, 1817. She married James Cheatham. They lived about five miles southeast of Oxford, where their grandson, Hamlin Cheatham now lives. ... Rebecca died in August 1888. Their children and descendants were:

William Adolphus Cheatham who married Asenath Parham (daughter of Lewis Parham) and had eleven children

David Thomas Cheatham who married Annie Reavis the daughter of Thomas Reavis and had thirteen children

Sarah Catherine Cheatham who married Albert C. Parham and had seven children

Mary Eliza Cheatham who died at about six months of age, and

James Theodore Cheatham who married Elizabeth Hamlin of Petersburg Virginia and had ten children.
