Young Man Dies
After Long Illness

Death brought to a close a long period of suffering for Eli Heng on Tuesday, June 21st, at his home where he had been confined most of the time for several years.

Eli Heng was born September 8th, 1897, at Dixon, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arne Heng. The family moved to the Colton vicinity thirty some years ago where the deceased grew to manhood.

During the World War Mr. Heng served with the U.S. Army being stationed at Camp Dodge, Iowa.

On the 24th of January, 1933 Mrs. Heng was married to Miss Ada Laun of Dell Rapids and here they have since made their home.

Surviving are the parents, the widow, one sister, Mrs. Verne Wilson of Dell Rapids; four brothers, Sam of Colton, Carl and Ed of Dell Rapids and John of Chana, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24th, in the Lutheran church, with the pastor, Rev. Ole M. Odland in charge. Interment will be in the Dell Rapids cemetery. The church service will be at 10:30 o'clock a.m.
