Former Seminole County Deputy Nave Edward` "Eddie" Abbiss passed away Tuesday February 3, 2009 at Elmwood Nursing Home after a long illness. He was 63 years of age. Born July 3, 1945 in San Diego,Ca. to Nave Junior and Nancy Alice (Casteel) Abbiss. He graduated from Wewoka High School in 1965. Eddie and Judy Ann Grimes were married February 24, 1968 in Wewoka, OK. and to this marriage two children were born. Eddie served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict. He was employed by Seminole County as an Deputy for a number of years. He and his wife Judy owned and operated Bob' Donut Shop for a number of years. He was employed by US Post Office as Mail carrier in Wewoka. Eddie was a member of First Christian Church Wewoka, along with been Troop Leader for the Boy's Scout Pack #425. He loved bowling, fishing, hunting, camping, training his K-9 dogs He loved his pets. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents.
