BERTRAND, Mo. — Helen Naile, 89, of Bertrand died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Nov. 17, 1918, in Steele, Mo., daughter of David and Mary Hamlett Hampton. She and Aubrey E. Naile were married Dec. 8, 1936. He died Feb. 11, 1994.
Naile was a member of Commerce Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons, Jerry, Danny, David and Gary Naile, all of Bertrand, Charles Naile of Farmington, Mo., Larry Naile of Benton, Mo.; four daughters, Peggy Lane of Corning, Ark., Shirley Eldridge of Wappapello, Mo., Judy Brown of Charleston, Mo., Sandra Alberson of Sikeston, Mo.; three sisters, Mildred Aaron of Anderson, Ind., Betty McCullough of Sikeston, Pauline Lindsey of West Memphis, Ark.; a brother, George Hampton of Dexter, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
