Services for Frances D. Lacey; 88 of Thomasville, are at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Love will officiate, and interment will be in Laurel Hill
Cemetery. Mrs. Lacey died Monday; April 24, 2000 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Born April 20,1912, in Wilcox County, Ga.,. she was a daughter of John Frank Adams and Nettie E. Mitchell Adams, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was married to Dudley Hughes Lacey Sr., who also preceded her in death in 1997, on Feb. 19, 1928 in Wilcox County. She was a homemaker, retired from Archbold Hospital and a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include sons, Coy Lacey of Tifton, Earl Lacey of Quitman, Dudley Hugh Lacey Jr. of Moultrie; daughters Lois Lacey Eddings, Dene Croft both of Thomasville, Mary Lacey Odom of Villa Rica, Ruby Lacey Dove of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister, Ethel McDuffie of Rochelle; 30 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Waymon Mitchell Lacey. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
