Bluford Abbott, age 93, of Cave Street, passed away December 6, 1994. He was a retired coal miner. He was born October 16, 1901 in Forbus, Tennessee the son of Emma Pruitt Abbott and Steve Abbott. He was married to Edna Wallace Abbott who survives.
He is also survived by six daughters; Billie Jean Stringer, Ina Mae Cooper, Ina Jean Logan, Amy Buchanan, Heather Buchanan and Amanda Wallace all of Monticello and one sister, Audell Wills of Monticello.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 9, 1994 at 200 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Anson Perkins officiating.. Burial was in the Alexander Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
