Homer Lee Bellew, Jr., 23, of Oglethorpe died Wednesday, August 18, 1976 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. Mr. Bellew was born in Peach County and had resided in Macon County for 17 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Oglethorpe, a veteran of the U. S. Army and a 1971 graduate of Macon County High School .
Funeral services were held Friday, August 20, 1976 at the Church of Christ in Oglethorpe with Mr. Arthur Adams and Rev. Ed Howard officiating. Interment was in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardnes.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Annie Cromer Bellew of Oglethorpe, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer L. Bellew, Sr. of Oglethopre; 2 brothers, Johnny Bellew of Oglethorpe and Sgt. Dozier Bellew of San Francisco, Calif. ; 2 sisters, Mrs. Goldie B. Albritton and Miss Margaret Bellew, both of Oglethorpe; and his grandmother, Mrs. Mary A. Bellew of Oglethorpe.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge.
