OPAL ADAIR, 97, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away at 2:13AM Monday, April 14, 2014 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

She was a long-time, active member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Opal is survived by her daughter, Sandra Barrett of Calvert City, KY; two sons, Benny Adair and Wayne Peck both of Calvert City, KY; two brothers, Harold Grace of Calvert City, KY and Wallace Grace of Paducah, KY; twenty three grandchildren; and Ms. Opal's "cup ran over," as she was blessed with many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sandy Thomas Adair; three sons, Weldon Peck, Thomas Adair and James Adair; and one brother, Ed Grace. Her parents were George Everett Grace and Ora Mae Russell Siebert.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church. Pastor Edgar Lee Paschall will officiate and burial will follow in the Mullinax Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5:00PM Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home, and from 10:00AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday at New Hope Baptist Church.
