LITTLE MARY AARON ROASTED IN A BARN.
AWFUL RESULT OF A FIRE SOUTH OF LANSING.
MEETS WITH A HORRIBLE DEATH.
Three-Year-Old Daughter of Frank Aaron, Living Near Lansing, Burned to Death Last Evening—Mother Crazed With Grief.

Little Mary Aaron was roasted to death in a burning barn last evening. She and a brother were playing in the barn when it caught on fire. The brother escaped, but the little girl, who was not quite 3 years old, met a horrible death in the flames.

Mary Aaron was the daughter of Frank Aaron, who lives two and one-half miles south of Lansing. Mike Aaron, register of deeds, Is an uncle of the little girl.

The details concerning the affair are meager.

Frank Aaron has two children a boy and a girl. The former is about six years of age, the latter nearly three. Last evening they were playing in the barn, when, in some manner, they set it on fire. The barn is a very large one. The boy escaped and ran to the house to tell his mother of the fire. Before the mother could get to the scene, the building, which was full of hay, was a mass of flames, and the child perished in a few moments.
Frank Aaron was at the home of Mike Aaron, in Lansing. He saw the fire and he and Mike hurriedly drove to the place. Mrs. Margaret Dougherty, living at 911 South Fifth street, is an aunt of the little girl. She was notified and she and Frank and Monica Dougherty drove out to the Aaron home last evening.

Mrs. Aaron, the mother of the little girl, is crazed with grief and her life is feared for."
