Mrs. Hattie [sic Addie] Burns, 86, 7900 DeSiard died of pneumonia in a local hospital yesterday afternoon after a short illness.

Services will be this afternoon at 1:30 at the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Monroe, with the Rev. James T. Horton, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Monroe, officiating. Interment will be in the Old City Cemetery of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Burns is survived by four cousins: Mrs. Effie Scott and Mrs. E. B. Scott of Winnsboro, Mrs. Robert Irby, Monroe, and Mr. Eugene Scott, West Monroe.
