Funeral services for Wilma P. Abell, 90, of Forsyth, were held May 11, 2009, at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home in Branson. Burial followed in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson. David Holvick officiated.
She died May 7, 2009, at Skaggs Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1919, in Stoutsville. She was the daughter of Clarence and Vashti Casey Littrell. She married Madison B. Abell in 1937, in Paris, Mo.
She was an assembly line worker for the A. B. Chance Co. She moved to the Forsyth area in 1990 from Paris. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forsyth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; and brothers, Cleveland and Thomas.
Survivors include daughter, Dorthey Slisher, of Forsyth; sister, Corene Graupman, of Perry; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
