Roy C. Southerton
Roy C. SOUTHERTON, 82, of 600 N. Eustis, Indianapolis, died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday at Community Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Nov. 12, 1906 in Macy to George and Eva HARTMAN SOUTHERTON. On Dec. 24, 1927, he married Viola TROUTMAN, who survives.
Surviving with the wife are three daughers, Doris, Terri and Jo [SOUTHERTON], all of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren a brother, Lee SOUTHERTON, Macy; two sisters, Mrs. Elzie ZARTMAN, Fulton, and Mrs. Cecil FROBISH, Onarga, Ill. He was preceded in death by an infant son; a brother, Clifford [SOUTHERTON], and a sister, Carrie JENKINS.
Services will be a 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Indianapolis. Burial and graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Plainview Cemetery, Macy. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Shirley Bros. East Chapel Funeral Home, 9606 E. Washington, Indianapolis.
