Jan 16, 1909 Dayton
The funeral of Mrs. Jane Dakin occurred Tuesday. Mrs. Dakin was a pioneer of the county, aged 76 years. For severals years she has lived on upper fourth Street in a little shack in which she also kept her cow and chickens. On Friday of last week, she was found in a helpless and partly frozen dondition and was taken to the county hospital where she died from blood poisoning Sunday. Mrs. Dakin leaves several daughters in the county.
Mairah Dakin died without a will. E.E. Keith was appointed acting administrator of the estate of Maria Dakin. He was appointed administrator and on 9th day of april 1910 the assets of the estate were distributed to the heirs at law and each received the sum of $8.35.
