Funeral services for Glenna Mae Aarstad, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Aarstad, 658 Val Vista, who drowned in Big Goose creek late Wednesday morning will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Champion's Funeral Home.
The Rev. Louis Haruf will officiate and interment will be in Sheridan municipal cemetery.
Glenna was born in Sheridan Dec. 23, 1960. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Frances Daniel and Richard Ray; one sister, Dalia Florence; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Smee, Sheridan; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan R. Aarstad, Wyola, Mont.
Friends who wish may donate to the Wyoming society for crippled children and adults in care of Mrs. Doris Pierson at Stevens, Fryberger or send contributions to P.O. Box 1088, Thermopolis.
Glenna fell down an embankment near Third street, and rolled into Big Goose creek. Her body was swept down stream and was retrieved by Walter Baker and Warren Morrison north of the Eighth street bridge.
