Donna was born the daughter of the late Donald and Sabina Bonino Hoover. Mrs. Aarns was retired from Gould National Battery. Her husband, Robert P. Aarns, whom she married July 17, 1973, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kankakee, died June 16, 1992. She was a member of Maternity BVM Catholic Church, where she taught RCIA. She loved her grandchildren, reading and cats. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Kristen Aarns of Bourbonnais, Mike and Dena Aarns of Momence; three grandchildren, Nathan, Evan and Lexi; and one brother and sister-in-law, Don and Betty Hoover of Tulsa, Okla. Her parents are deceased.
