Funeral services for Mrs. Ole (Clara) Anderud, 82, former Ransom County resident, were held on Friday, November 11, at 1:00 p.m. in the North LaMoure Lutheran Church with Pastor E. Kristensen in charge. A quintette composed of Mrs. Ben Osterberg, Mrs. Selmer Rockswold, Mrs. Myron Smedshammer, Harvey Haugen, and John C. Horsager, with Mrs. Harvey Haugen as accompanist, sang "Kun et Skridt" (One Resolve), and "Rock of Ages". The Norwegian hymn was Mrs. Clara Andrud's favorite and was requested by the family.

Burial was in the family lot beside her husband in the cemetery by the church. The pallbearers were: Edward Johnson, Jr., Claire Paulson, Johnny Paulson, Kenneth Paulson, Oscar Paulson, and Reginald Paulson. The pallbearers were six grandsons.

Lunch was served in the church parlors at the close of the services.

Her husband, John Andrud, died February 9, 1924 and was buried on February 13, with pastor Frederick Dahl in charge.
Mrs. Clara Andrud passed away Sunday morning, November 6, at North Memorial Hospital, Minneapolis, Minn., after an illness of five years. She was 82 years of age at the time of her passing.

Clara Josephine Berglund was born in Frederickstad, Norway, March 5, 1873, to parents, Hilda and Anders Berglund and came to this country at the age of nine. The family first lived near Horace, N. D., for one year before coming to Northland Township in Ransom County. it was in this community that she was married to Johannes Andrud and continue to live here until about five years ago, when she went to stay with two of her daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Meinke and Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Sjowall in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
she had been baptize and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of North LaMoure Lutheran Church, since it was first organized.

Preceding her in death are: her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Paulson (Mable); here only sister, Mrs. Erick Arneson, and two infant brothers.

She is survived by one son: Clarence, Kathryn; five daughters: Mrs. Hilda Johnson, Erhard, Mrs. Lillie Paulson, Ephra Andrud, Ethel Sjowall and Elenora Mienke; one brothers, Charles F. Berglund of Bremerton, Wash., and also eleven grandsons, two granddaughters and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted for her at Welander-Quick (North Chapel) Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tuesday evening, November 8 at 8 o'clock. Paston J. O. Holum of Central Lutheran Church officiated, and Mrs. Sylvia Dahl Kromroy was soloist.
