William H. Burnett, 75, of 405 East A, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Born March 10, 1889, near Ellinwood, he was a long-time resident of Hutchinson, He was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1916 and was elected to two terms as Reno County Attorney and also was judge of city court.
Member; Trinity Methodist Church. 33rd Degree Masonic; Lodge No. 415: Wichita Shrine; Gridiron Club,
Survivors: The widow, Eva Irene; daughters, LeAnna, of the home; Mrs. Harry Zimbelman, San Francisco; a son, Richard, Tripoli, Libya; step son, Robert C. Flynn, Wichita; step-daughter, Mrs. Maurus N. Blick, 724 North Plum; sister, Mrs. Alma Ahlgrim. Tribune; Arthur Alen, 34 East 12th; four grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren.
Scottish Rite Service: 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Elliott Chapel. The body will be cremated.
