obituary for Hannah Aberle
Hannah Rickenberger Aberle, 84, died Friday evening at the home of her niece, Mrs. Joseph Beyer, where she made her home for over two years.
She was a daughter of John and Mary Haas Rinkenberger and was born June 2, 1873, in Woodford county, Eureka, Illinois. She was orphaned at a very young age after which she worked and lived in various homes in Illinois and Kansas. She was married to Andrew Aberle on August 25, 1912. Mrs. Aberle lived in and near Sabetha the rest of her life.
Preceding her in death was her husband on July 13, 1929, and her brother Daniel Rinkenberger.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Tobias Strahm of Sabetha and her sister-in-law Mrs. Elizabeth Rinkenberger of Washington, Ill.; her nieces and nephews, Mrs. Sarah May of Kansas City, Mrs. Esther McGinty, Mrs. Naomi Beyer, Tobias Strahm and Mrs. Nettie Beyer of Sabetha; Mrs. Mary Moser, Mrs. Nettie Knapp, Mrs. Lydia Sauder, Mrs. Hanna Hunzeker and Mrs. Rosie Moss of Illinois, a number of grand nieces and nephews.
She was a member of teh Christian Apostolic Church where services were held on Monday January 20, at two o'clock with the Rev. Sam Anliker and Carl Hartman officiating. Pallbverers were Henry Stoldt, Will Wenger, Ben Hartter, Lewis Bahr, Joseph Steiner and August Grimm.
