RITES HELD FOR HENRY GRADY NEWCOMB

Mr. Henry Grady Newcomb, age 57, of Chase City, Va., died Sunday, May 20, 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Collins Newcomb; five sons, James D. Newcomb of Clarksvile, Larry J., Clarence, Charlie and Hurley Newcomb, all of Chase City; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Wilmouth and Miss Shirley Newcomb, both of Chase City; stepmother, Mrs. Lucille Newcomb of Drakes Branch; five brothers, Arthur Newcomb of Dinwiddie, Roy Newcomb of Charlottesville, John and Lee Newcomb, both of Chase City, Paul Newcomb of Apex, N.C.; seven sisters, Mrs. Annie Adams of Saxe, Mrs. Fannie Duffey of Hickory, N.C., Mrs. Mary Hensley, Mrs. Jenie Morris and Mrs. Ida O'Quinn, all of Drakes Branch, Mrs. Audrey Pruitt of Durham, N.C., Hazel Newcomb of Drakes Branch.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, at 3:00 p.m. from the Browning Funeral Home Keysville, with interment in Cool Springs Chritian Church Cemetery.
