BREMEN -- Thilbern B. Wilcox Jr., 79, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at his residence. He was born Feb. 7, 1929, the son of the late T.B. and Ethel Gish Wilcox. He was a retired coal miner, was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thilbern Wilcox Sr. and Ethel Gish Wilcox; brothers Dallas Wilcox and Billy Wilcox, and a sister, Rilda Abbott.
Services are at 10 am. Saturday at Tucker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glen Armstrong officiatin. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Bremen. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank all who have helped during his illness. He was so loved by all of his family and friends. The outpouring of love and support has been heartwarming.
