He was employed by the Grandview Barber Shop of OKC; and is survived by wife, Gloria; 3 step-sons, Charles, of OKC, Mike, of Vassar, KS and Steve, of Alameda, CA; 1 stepdaughter, Darlene, of Houston, TX; 5 sisters, Ruby Garrett, of Lawton, OK, Vesla Lynch of Stonewall, OK, Eddie Faye Thornton of Amarillo, TX, Mildred Herron, of OKC and Oleta Brown, of OKC, 1 brother, Algon Barnes, of OKC. Services are Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 2pm in Chapel of the Chimes. Interment at Jones IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Directed by Capitol Hill Funeral Home.
