Jerry D. Aaron, 62, of Chesterfield, IN died Friday, February 20, 2009, in his home following an extended illness.
He was born April 17, 1946 in Russell Springs, KY, a son of the late Loren and Doris (Johnson) Aaron.
Jerry graduated from Russell County High School and moved to Anderson to work at Guide Corp where he was employed for 32 years. He had attended the Spiceland Pike Church of God in New Castle and more recently Faith Church in Anderson. During his retirement he enjoyed travelling.
He is survived by his twin sons, Rev. Andrew D. (Amy) Aaron of Galloway, OH and Scotte E. Aaron of Anderson; two granddaughters, Isabel and Ilena Aaron of Galloway, OH; two sisters, JoAnn (Mitchell) Harris of Columbia, KY and Kathy (Charles) Owens of Chattanooga, TN; a brother, Michael (Kyon) Aaron of Clarksville, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Aaron; and a nephew, Gordon Aaron.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. James Small officiating. Burial was in Bernard Ridge Cemetery.
