Daniel ABERNATHY died March 16, at Tucumcari, N. M., where he made his home. He was born March 17, 1864 in Bollinger County, Mo.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W. P. THIGPEN of Porterville, Calif., two sons, Elvin ABERNATHY of Albuquerque, N. M. and Chester ABERNATHY of Lovington, N. M., a sister, Mrs. D. H. WILLIAMS of Muleshoe, Tex., and a brother, C. O. ABERNATHY of Altus.
