Funeral services for Charles E. Harvey, 72, R.R. 1, Dillsboro, will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, at Ulrich-Filter Funeral Home, Dillsboro, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro. Visitation will be from 4 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 7.
Mr. Harvey was retired as a foreman with Schenley Distillers, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; four daughters, Judy Eichlor, Milan, Arlene Ray and Joyce Jones, Dillsboro, and Diana Abbott, Aurora; four stepchildren, Paul E. Hunter, Frankfort, Mary Jung, Cincinnati, William Hunter, Covington, Ky., James Hunter, Homestead, Fla.; sister Helen Fawell, Nashville, six grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
