Mrs. Mary Fiske, an early pioneer of Gilbert vicinity, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Virgil Rainbolt, of Gilbert. Mrs. Fiske, age 72, made her home in the Gilbert vicinity the greater part of her life. A short time before her husband died they moved to Spencer, and after his death came back to Gilbert, where she has since made her home. Her death came to the immediate family as a sort of a blow, altho she had been ailing more or less of late, her condition was not regarded as serious. The body was taken to Curley [should be Curlew] this morning, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Rainbolt, and interment was made at the place.
