Sue B. Abernathy, 87, of Memphis, retired grocer, died of cancer Wednesday at her home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls (Tenn.) Cemetery. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge.

Mrs. Abernathy, the widow of S. H. Abernathy, leaves two daughters, Pat Black of Memphis and Susan Hodges of Walls, Miss., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Children of Blanch Sue (Bizzell) Abernathy were Patricia Abernathy and Susan Claire (Abernathy) Anderson.
