Cokeville--Herman I. Mau, 83, died Friday, Jan 3, 1992, at his home in Cokeville.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan 6, 1992 at 1 p.m. in St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Cokeville. Interment was in the Cokeville City Cemetery with committal services under the direction of the Masonic Lodge.
He was born Nov 13 1908, in Cokeville to Frank A. and Ester Evans Mau.
He spent his younger years working for the family sheep business. He attended the University of Wyoming letering in three sports and has always been an avid supporter of the "Cowboy Joe Club". He drove school bus form many years for the Cokeville School District and also owned and operated a service station in Cokeville. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He married Margaret Zeger in 1931 and she died in 1967. He married Dorthy Brooks in 1982.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Cokeville, one daughter Miriam, one grandson Steven and one granddaughter, Diana, aa of Torrance, CA, one brother Albert of Pinedale WY and two sisters, Lala of Laramie WY and Mary of Coronado CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
