Gladys Hugonin Davenport was born September 16, 1901 to Lewis Alexander Hugonin and Bessie Belle Myers In Scranton (now Pascagula) MS.

She married Felton Richard Davenport December 25, 1923 in Houston, Tx.

She was an active member and Sunday School teacher at West End Baptist Church. She was also a member of Houston Heights Chapter O.E.S. 258. She started doing genealogy on her family and Felton's in the 1950's.

She died Sept 14, 1961 just before her 60th birthday in Houston, TX. Survived by her husband, daughter,son, several grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
