Juan was the oldest of 9 children born to Pedro Juan Aragon (1872-1957) and Adelia Rodriquez (1885-1947). He married Beatrice Chavis Abt. 1939 and had 6 children. In his younger years he worked in Silverton, Ouray, Telluride and Price Utah as a miner. He was known as a very talented musician playing the fiddle, guitar, mandolin and banjo for the community dances. Was buried in the Santa Rosa Cemetery NM.
