Mrs. Ann Lewis, FRUITA, Mrs. Ann M. Lewis, 92, a resident of Mesa County for 5_? years, died at 8 p.m. Friday in Lower Valley Hospital. Mrs. Lewis was born Ann Abercrombie on March 9, 1878, in Neosho, Mo. She came to Colorado with her parents in a covered wagon when she was five years old. Except for a few years spent in New Mexico, the family made Colorado their home. In 1897, she married Leonard Lewis in ceremonies at Walsenburg. Mr. Lewis preceded her in death in 1955. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, James A. Lewis of Lake Isabella, Calif., and John Lewis of Mariposa, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Jesse Calkins of Fort Collins, and Mrs. Edna Boyle of Lynwood, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
